Barry's speed is reduced to one percent, and he keeps trying unsuccessfully to catch Eve McCulloch, who passes through Central City through mirrors and causes all sorts of damage. Nash and the Welles Council in his brain had come up with a way to harness the Artificial Force of Speed: to transfer the multiversal particles in Nash's bodies, courtesy of all the Welles, into the Realm of Synthesis.
The problem, however, is that the multiverse particles are unstable and need an organic channel to work with the sphere, meaning Nash needs to die for this plan to work. But Nash isn't ready to die yet and is trying to find another way to make it work.
Chester sets to work on creating a device that will pull the multiverse particles back into Nash. Once the device is finished, Allegra transfers the particles back to Nash's body. The team needs to hurry up: Eva McCulloch is going to blow up a plane over Central City, and its wreckage will kill a lot of people.
