Barry and Nora go to stop some art thieves, and Iris gets upset when Nora cuts her off. Nora reveals that in the future, Iris is cold, distant, and critical of her actions. Nora leaves to spend some time with Cecile, learning more about Iris from her. Later, a new meta called Rag Doll attacks the architect and destroys his office, although the Flash saves him. Iris and Barry try to explore the new meta, but the latter is captured by a Rag Doll and held hostage on the roof with power handcuffs . Ralph and Iris go to save Barry, Iris jumps off the building to remove Barry's handcuffs as he falls, and lets him save them just as Ralph defeats the Rag Doll. Later, Iris reconciles with Nora, and they begin to grow closer. Meanwhile, Cisco, Caitlin, Ralph, and Sherlock investigate Caitlin's father and track him down in the university office and chemistry lab before Cisco suddenly collapses. As his damaged hands negatively affect his health when using his powers, Cisco takes control of Devo's companions to try to find both Thomas and Cicada.
