Barry takes the meta-drug into the Force of Speed for an hour to help speed up the synthesis process, leaving behind the restless Burrow. Elsewhere, Cicada kidnaps Iris, but manages to warn Nora and Frost's Killer of her whereabouts. They arrive, but the Cicada kills the Frost Killer, upsetting Nora to the point that she runs so fast that she resets the timeline. When Nora tries to prevent Iris ' death, Cicada instead kidnaps Sherlock, and although the situation plays out the same as last time, Cisco dies this time. Nora repeatedly resets the timeline, but every time she tries again, at least one person in the Flash team is always killed. Eventually, Cisco reveals the loops to the team, forcing Nora to confess what happened. Cisco comforts her and works with the rest of the team on a new plan to stop the Cicada. This time, they make the Cicada accidentally stab itself with a dagger, causing it to run. As soon as Barry returns and finds out what Nora has done, he warns her against changing the time any further. Elsewhere, Sherlock manages to decipher Nora's entire diary using symbols she unwittingly revealed during a meeting with the team.
