When Barry, Joe, and Cisco go to the crime scene, they discover the remains of a mysterious code. Cisco presents Barry with a technologically advanced suit designed to facilitate his activities. He checks it out by trying to rescue someone from a broken-down car driven by metahuman Ramsey Deacon. Gypsy arrives on Earth-1 for a date with Cisco, who is forced to cancel it in order to focus on Deacon. Acting on Caitlin's suggestion, Iris signs her and Barry up for family therapy to sort out their relationship. Deacon kidnaps a witness, a former member of the tech team who stole his idea for profit. Barry and Wally go to rescue him, but Deacon uses his powers to confuse Barry's suit. At Iris ' direction, Barry throws a lightning bolt at himself, shorting out the suit. He then incapacitates Deacon, who is locked up in the Iron Heights meta-wing, revealed to be part of the intelligent Man's plan. Cisco finally meets Gypsy.
